What I have learnt...

From informations collected by me it results that Pieczykolan family is descending from the region of Zamość, areas between Biłgoraj and Zwierzyniec - villages Lipowiec, Tereszpol.
Pretty large group of people with this family name lives in Lublin (among others my family).
According to Marek Piasecki with Pieczykolan family is connected interesting history about burnt mansion-house (maybe from there is originating our family name) of nobleman called Złotogórski or Złotopolski.
Mr Krzysztof Pieczykolan has learnt that Pieczykolan family name originates from Złotochowscy family, and was changed because of the czar who persecuted Złotochowscy family.
I know from Mr Mariusz Pieczykolan's information, that in Pomerania near Gdańsk live a really large group of people with the Pieczykolan family name.
